Many business owners have never had a website built before, so the process can feel like a black box. It shouldn't be. Here's exactly how we work at WEBA, from the first conversation to long after launch, and what we'll need from you along the way.
1. Roadmap session
Everything starts with a conversation. We want to understand your business, your customers and your goals. Do you want more phone calls, online orders, bookings, or simply a professional presence? We look at sites you like and dislike, what your competitors do, and what you already have: logo, photos, texts, domain.
You get: a clear plan of the pages and features your site needs, a timeline and a quote. No surprises later.
2. Structure and content
Before any design, we decide what goes where: which pages the site will have, what each one must say, and what we want visitors to do on it. This is also when we gather content. If writing isn't your thing, we help turn your knowledge into clear text that also works for Google.
3. Design
We design the homepage first, since it sets the look and feel for everything else, and show it to you early. Your feedback shapes the direction before we design the rest of the pages. We design for phones from the start, not as an afterthought, because that's where most of your visitors will be.
4. Development
Now the design becomes a real, working website: fast, responsive and built to last. This is also where the practical tools are added, depending on what your business needs: contact forms, online shops with card payments, booking systems, courier integrations or a private CRM for your customers. You can see examples in our work. We test everything on real phones and browsers as we go.
5. SEO and online presence
A beautiful site nobody finds doesn't help anyone. Before launch we set up page titles and descriptions, structured data that helps Google understand your business, a sitemap, and fast loading. After launch, we register the site with Google Search Console and Bing, and help you set up or improve your Google Business Profile.
6. Security and legal
Every site gets HTTPS, spam protection on its forms, and protected private areas. We also make sure it follows EU rules: a privacy policy, terms of use and, only if the site actually needs one, a cookie notice. Where we can, we build sites that don't need one at all.
7. Launch
We move the site to its final home, connect your domain and a professional email address like info@yourbusiness.com, and test everything again live: every page, every form, every payment. Then we ask Google to index it.
8. Support and growth
Launch day is the beginning, not the end. We stay by your side: fixing issues, making updates, adding features as your business grows, and checking how the site performs so we can keep improving it.
What we'll need from you
- Your logo, or a willingness to create one together.
- Information about your business and services, even rough notes, which we can shape into text.
- Photos of your work, shop or products, if you have them.
- Access to your domain and hosting, or we can set them up for you.
- Timely feedback at each step, which is the single biggest factor in how fast a project moves.
How long does it take?
It depends on the project. A presentation website is usually ready in a few weeks, while an online shop or a custom platform takes longer. You'll get a realistic timeline in the roadmap session, and we keep you updated at every step, so you always know where your project stands.
