Who we are

The data controller for personal data collected through webaservices.com is Iasonas Spiridon Papandreou, trading as WEBA, based in Ioannina, Greece. For anything about your data, email us at info@webaservices.com.

What we collect and why

Contact form. When you send us a message we receive your name, email address and message, together with your IP address and the time you sent it. We use them to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. The IP address helps us block spam. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in protecting the form from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Emails you send us. The same applies as for the contact form.

Visit statistics. We count visits with our own tool. For each visit we record the page, the website you came from, your type of device (mobile, tablet or computer) and your browser. Your IP address is only used to create a code that changes every day, so we can count unique visitors per day. The IP address itself is not stored, and we can't use the code to identify you or to follow you from one day to the next. We don't use cookies for this. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs. Our hosting provider automatically records technical details of each request (such as IP address, date and time, page and browser) to keep the site secure and running. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Everything the pages need, including fonts, is served from our own server, so visiting the site doesn't send your data to other companies.

Cookies

The public pages of webaservices.com don't use cookies or any similar technology that stores information on your device. That's why you won't see a cookie banner. Only our private admin area, used by WEBA alone, sets a strictly necessary login cookie.

Who receives your data

We don't sell or rent your data. We only share it with providers that help us run the site:

• Hostinger: hosting of the website, its database and our email.
• Brevo: delivers the notification email when you use the contact form.

Transfers outside the EU

If one of these providers processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is covered by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

• Messages: as long as needed to deal with your request, and no longer than 2 years after our last contact, unless we start working together. In that case we keep them for as long as the law requires (for example for tax records).
• Visit statistics: up to 2 years.
• Server logs: for a short period, under our hosting provider's policies.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email info@webaservices.com and we'll reply within one month. If you think we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only WEBA can access stored messages, behind a password.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
